Max-R Lumber™ is made from 97% post consumer HDPE - milk jugs - and is designed for maximum strength and resiliency. It is the purest grade of recycled plastic available in the industry today. Premium grade resins and UV inhibitors are added to the lumber to prevent fading from sun exposure and to ensure our product’s aesthetics and integrity throughout years of use. Since Max-R Lumber™ doesn’t absorb moisture, it is resistant to mold, rotting, and won’t harbor insects. The result is industry leading, long-lasting, sustainable site furnishings.
Available in 10 standard colors and with hundreds of different color combinations, it’s easy to customize your site furnishings to meet the individual aesthetics of your facility and match your organization’s brand standards.
The average Max-R recycling unit reclaims and re-purposes approximately 1,000 milk jugs from landfill. Every bin comes standard with its own unique number. That number tells the story of how many milk jugs were recycled to make it. We understand that sometimes the value of recycling gets lost in our communities. With Max-R bins nothing is lost. There’s no better way to show recycling that works than with a milk jug on your bin.
The LEED® green building certification program is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of green buildings. Max-R Lumber™ products are made of 97% pure post-consumer HDPE and may contribute to your LEED® goals under MR 4.1 and MR 4.2.
